As an exhibitor of this years` NPE show in Chicago (22nd to 26th of June) FRIMO Inc. presented the entire FRIMO product portfolio as well as its new products for the US market.
Although the NPE had to face a 30% decrease of exibitors and visitors, Jeff Daily, President of FRIMO Inc., was pleased with the number of visitors on the FRIMO booth and draws a positive conclusion. The visitors came from a wide range of plastic processing industries and showed deep interest in FRIMO technologies and competencies.
A technical highlight at the booth was the live demonstation of the new FlexTrim router cell that had been developed by FRIMO Inc. in close cooperation with ABB robotics. This milling machine stands out with high flexibility and mobility for the trimming of plastic components. Large components as well as complex geometries can be processed more economically. Furthermore, the FRIMO presentation focused on PU spray applications, which were also demonstrated with an ABB robot, as well as on standard thermoformers and joining technologies. For example, FRIMO supplies joining technologies to the well-known Tier 1 supplier Dräxlmaier for the BMW F25 model, which is built in Spartanburg.
