The FAKUMA 2009 - international trade fair for plastics manufacturing - came up to its good reputation to be one of the most important plastic fairs. This year FRIMO took part for the first time and was able to meet with success. In numerous conversations a general increase of the ecomonic situation was visible. This was shown directly in the number of concrete requests for FRIMO tools and machinery.
The main focus "Thermoforming and more....." was presented by FRIMO by means of an EcoForm thermoforming machine and numerous application examples as well as multimedia presentations. The trade public was especially interested in the FRIMO technology solutions as follows:
- material saving concepts of foil processing (process optimized chain rail, foil trim optimization)
- weight reduction of manufactured components
- economic manufacturing solutions
- thermoforming simulations
- following processes (as back foaming, joining, gluing, trimming, etc.)
Within the fair FRIMO took the chance to present a speech about the "Economical production of thermoformed
surfaces with plastic fi lms and plastic sheets" at the FAKUMA Exhibitor Forum.
